So instead of being productive this last day or so, I've been making icons. I'm rusty as hell, so some of these are of dubious quality - but there are a few I really like and plan on expanding from. There are definitely more on the way. Particularly Dean, who got somewhat left out of these first few. for sammessiah - which rocks an unholy amount.

It's just sort of funny, because here I was thinking I was a fully recovered Catholic...and then suddenly in the middle of laughing hysterically at the cult entries, I feel scandalized and kind of like checking over my shoulder despite the fact that the nearest family is 400+ miles away, haha.

I'm definitely enjoying it, though. I just keep having stop and go "oh my god, they actually went there."

*sympathetic cringe* My parents are both fairly devout Lutheran (as was I in my formative years, though it hasn't been the case for a hell of a long time), and this week while visiting my mom I admitted to accidentally starting the tongue-in-cheek cult that is sammessiah. And then had to explain to her exactly what that meant. It was embarrassingly difficult to do. And then she laughed and it was fine, but man... totally sympathize. There are lines, and it's fun stomping all the hell over them, but I still get these twinging moments of having to remind myself that the God I believe in has a fantastic and forgiving sense of humor.
